A nice painting by the dutch artist Quirijn/ Quiringh Gerritsz. van Brekelenkam (1622-1679). This family just finished the Sunday meal and are getting ready to go to the church - the mother is handing a prayer book to the young son and the little girl is holding her freshly starched cap and fan. Painting from around 1658 - 1660.
