Portrait number 2 of a child. A painting by the Dutch artist Jacob Willemsz. Delff (I) (1550-1601) of an unknown child. The fruit basket with pears and cherry's is very traditional for a painting of a child, especially the cherry's. The text in the upper left corner says 'Anº D.nis. 1581 AEtatis suae 2' which means that the painting was made in 1581 and that the boy is 2 years old.
