Gerard Hoet: Portrait of the family Quarles (1725)

A painting by the Dutch artist Gerard Hoet (1648-1733). depicted are several members of the family Quarles during a hunt, a wealthy family from The Hague. Depicted from left to right:
- Cornelia Splinter van Loenersloot (1677-1750), born in Rotterdam and married on June 29, 1716 with Pieter Quarles
- Pieter Quarles (1677-1744), regent of the Saint Nicolashospital in the Hague, lawyer
- Lodewijk Quarles (1719-1781), captain in the civic guard of Gouda, regent
- Willem baron Quarles de Quarles (1717-1781), lawyer
- a servant
The building on the right is Vrijburg house along the Broeksloot in Voorburg, a country estate of the family - in the Hague the family lived on the Lange Houtstraat nr 7. Painting from 1725.
