Gustav Klimt: The Kiss (1908)

A famous painting by the Austrian artist Gustav Klimt (1862 – 1918). Painted during the 'golden period' of Klimt during which he made several gilded paintings. Both figures are crowned with a wreath of leaves. The man is wearing a cloak with linear patterns while the woman has a dress with circular patterns. Painting from 1908.
