A painting by the Dutch artist Dirck van Delen (1604-1671). This painting is part of a set of seven decorative pieces. The paintings show imaginary interiors filled with people. Several people on this painting have been identified: princess Elisabeth of the Palatinate (1618-1680), William Craven, 1st Earl of Craven, (1608 – 1697), Johan van Plettenberg, his wife sandrina Ingenhaeff and Theodoor van Waldeck (1614-1645).
