A painting by the British artist James R. Webb (1825–1895). James Webb specialized in in marine views and landscapes. This piece offers a view of the Dutch city of Rotterdam. A couple of buildings are recognizable: the large tower in the background is the saint Lawrence Church while the the classical style building off center is the Delft Gate. Painting from 1895.
