A print which is Attributed to the Dutch artist Zacharias Webber II (1644-1696). This print shows a creature which, according to the text below, was found on the island of Madagascar and was brought to France. The creature stayed in the French city of Nantes and the plan was to bring it to the French king. The creature spoke a language which "nobody had heard and could understand". Print from 1658.
