Eduardo Rosales: The Countess of Santovenia ("The Pink Girl", 1871)

A painting by the Spanish artist Eduardo Rosales (1836-1873). This painting shows a portrait of María de la Concepción Serrano y Domínguez (1860-1941), a daughter of Francisco Serrano, 1st Duke of la Torre - a Spanish marshal, statesman and prime minister of Spain (1810 – 1885) and his wife Antonia Domínguez y Borrell, Guevara y Lemus, 2nd Countess of San Antonio. María de la Concepción married in 1880 with Don Jose Maria Martinez de Campos y De la Vega, the second Count of Santovenia. The couple had one child. Painting from 1871.
