A piece made by an unknown Spanish artist from the Workshop of the master of Luccae. This piece is an altar frontal or antependium. It is decorated with the Christ in majesty in the centre and is surrounded by the Tetramorph: the angel of Saint Matthew; the eagle of Saint John; the lion of Saint Mark, and the bull of Saint Luke. In the corners are 4 scenes from the New Testament: the angel on Christ’s tomb, the three Marys, Noli me tangere (Christ with Mary Magdalene) and The Raising of Lazarus. this altar frontal originally came from the chapel of Mary Magdalene in a country house at Solanllong near Ripoll (Girona). A piece from the 13th century.
