Six illuminated pages made by the Austrian artist Jörg Kölderer (circa 1465–1540). These pages come from the book "The Book of Armaments of Emperor Maximilian I". This book was compiled by Bartholomaeus Freysleben, the Hauszeugmeister (imperial master of armaments). The book describes the various imperial armouries and the artillery and weaponry that were made during Maximilian's reign. The book served as a presentational work rather than a simple inventory. Book from 1502.
