Alphonse Mucha: Zodiac (aka 'La Plume'), (1896)

This famous poster was the first work of the Czech artist Mucha for the printer  F. Champenois. Mucha designed as a in-house calendar but it quickly attracted the attention of the chief editor of the magazine 'La Plume'. The editor bought the rights to distribute it as the magazine's calendar for 1897 (shown here). Poster from 1896.
