A diptych made by the Flemish artist Quentin Matsys (1466-1530). On the right is Christ shown as 'Salvator Mundi' (Latin for Saviour of the World). On the left is the virgin Mary in prayer, wearing a crown and a nimbus around her head. Paintings from 1505.
