Moretto da Brescia: Saint Justina, Venerated by a Patron (1530-34)

A painting by the Italian artist Alessandro Bonvicino (1498-1554), better known as Moretto da Brescia. In front of an expansive landscape the figure of Saint Justina stands, patron saint of Padua, with her attribute, the unicorn, and the donor kneeling to her left, gazing up at her in adoration. Painting from 1530-1534.
